FORTÉ Earns AVIXA's 'AV Provider of Excellence' Designation
AVIXA recognized FORTÉ in October 2019 with the APEx award - a designation for integration companies that meet high standards of excellence in service.

"Customers of APEx companies can be confident of the AV provider's professionalism and commitment to ongoing training, customer service and dedication to excellence."
FORTÉ has qualified as an AVIXA AV Provider of Excellence, or APEx, every year since 2015. The AVIXA APEx program recognizes integration companies and AV design consulting firms dedicated to upholding industry excellence by providing quality service to customers.
"Many customers are looking for a way to ensure an AV integrator has the skills and competencies to deliver on complex and demanding technologies," said Brad Sousa, CTO at FORTÉ. "APEx combines mastery of AV technologies as well as IT and UC technologies, which is unique and critical."
The AVIXA APEx program recognizes companies based on the number of employees holding key industry certifications, including AVIXA's CTS credential, completion of continuing education classes, and positive customer survey responses.
APEx providers must also prove that they meet or exceed the requirements within 2 ANSI/INFOCOMM standards — the Standard Guide for Audiovisual Systems Design and Coordination Processes and the AV System Performance Verification Standard — to foster better communication between the AV provider and the customer.
