What You'll Be Doing:
Events are a significant part of AVI’s marketing efforts. We showcase at the industry’s largest trade show (InfoComm), host several large regional events in major league baseball stadiums, support local events in our AVI experience centers, and host webinars. We are expanding our events in 2022 and need a marketing event specialist to help us successfully execute this plan!
What You Bring to Ensure Your Success:
- Bachelor’s degree or formal education in Marketing or closely correlated field
- 1-2 years of experience in event management preferably for high-profile events in a corporate environment, with an understanding of events starting at pre-production through to event wrap-up.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with Pre-Production and understanding of all aspects of the AV that needs to be required for a successful show, including live and remote speakers’ presentations, slide decks, video playback, product demonstrations, digital and live Q&A sessions, and event coordination.
- Experience planning and hosting webinars
- Experience with Bizzabo or any other event management software is a plus
- We prefer this person to be based in the Twin Cities area, but it’s not a requirement for the right person.
